Message from the President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar:
Dear Participants,
As the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, I would like to express our great pleasure in hosting the 7th International Turkic World Tourism Congress, which will be held at the Eastern Mediterranean University, the state university of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, between May 21-25, 2025. This important event offers a unique opportunity to discover and strengthen the potential of the Turkish World in the field of tourism.
Tourism is not only an economic sector, it is also a critical tool that strengthens cultural ties, encourages international cooperation and deepens understanding between societies. As the Turkic World, we must continue to work together to build on this rich heritage and further advance our cultural and economic relations.
We believe that our congress will pave the way for comprehensive discussions and strategic collaborations on vital issues such as the sustainability of tourism, digitalization and cultural tourism. In addition, the workshops and panels to be held to maximize the tourism potential of the Turkic World and contribute to regional development will provide valuable gains for all of us.
I would like to thank all participants who will contribute to the success of our congress and state that we will be very honored to see each of you among us at this meaningful event. The further strengthening of the unifying power of tourism in the geography of the Turkic World will further strengthen our hopes for the future.
